1# Canary Islands, Spain

Let's start with the Canary Islands. Have you ever heard of them? This place is a true paradise with a mild climate all year round. They lie in the Atlantic, very close to Africa, and are part of Spain. Best of all, in February you can find temperatures ranging from 20°C to 25°C. Sounds like a lie, doesn't it? While much of Europe is freezing, you're there, sunbathing on the beach.

Tenerife, Gran Canaria, Lanzarote and Fuerteventura are some of the islands you need to visit. Imagine enjoying a beach with volcanic sand, hiking in unique landscapes and going on adventurous boat trips. All this is possible in the Canary Islands! And if you're the type who loves a party, Tenerife's Carnival is a show in itself - full of color, joy and music. Can you imagine dancing at the carnival in the middle of winter?

2# Algarve, Portugal

Another wonderful destination to escape the cold is the Algarve, in the south of Portugal. Temperatures there are between 15°C and 20°C in February. It's not exactly summer heat, but it's enough to get you out of the house without having to bundle up. Imagine walking along the beach with a light breeze and no crowds around you? Sounds perfect, doesn't it?

The Algarve is incredible, with breathtaking beaches and golden cliffs. In February, the region is quieter, ideal for exploring every corner at leisure. Lagos, Albufeira, Tavira... each of these towns has something special. You can go for walks along the seafront, visit the cliffs of Ponta da Piedade and indulge in the local cuisine. There's nothing like tasting good fresh fish in a typical restaurant while enjoying the view, right?

3# Malta

Have you ever considered visiting Malta? I'll tell you: this archipelago in the middle of the Mediterranean is a perfect destination to escape the cold. In February, temperatures are between 15°C and 18°C, and the sun is often out. Perfect for walking outdoors and exploring the history and culture of the place without having to hide from the cold.

The capital Valletta is charming, full of historic buildings and charming streets. You'll fall in love with the golden stone houses and the welcoming atmosphere. Don't miss Mdina, the old town that seems to have stood still in time - it's known as "the city of silence". And if you're the type who loves breathtaking scenery, you need to visit the Blue Lagoon in Comino. Even if it's not warm enough to dive in, the color of the water will impress you.

4# Cyprus

What about Cyprus? Many people forget about this island, but it is full of charm and a great option for those who want to escape the harsh winter. In February, temperatures vary between 16°C and 19°C, perfect for exploring every corner without rushing and without needing so many coats.

In Nicosia, the capital, you'll find an interesting contrast between cultures, as it's the only divided capital in the world. And Paphos is one of those places that has a story to tell around every corner. It is said that Aphrodite was born there! Imagine visiting a place so full of mythology and natural beauty? You can hike through the Troodos mountains, explore the beaches and try the local cuisine, full of Mediterranean flavors. A real treat!
